I went to the web site Guildwars.com
and looked at the job application. they said that the creature disigner will be able to edit AI and add skills how to use them attributes and abilities. well i dont want to do that with the job so this is the discussion page for it. looks long but worth reading.
so i want to have this really insane boss to be added with the expansion i mean really insane.
it should be 10+ people instanced area. crowded with level 40+ elites grouped AI's to make pulling somewhat less effictive. i need a challenge. make it bigger than FOW and UW. this thing has got to be huge jam packed with enemies. nice drops would be an improvement i usually dont care to much about that. i'm not saying that it doesn't matter. i'm just worried that they will not make it hard enough. i need a challenge.
i'm going to guess at this but as follows: (correct me if i am wrong):
Warriors max strength and sword mastery axe and hammer is all 16.
the boss of this place needs 100 strength, 100 (swords/axes/hammers) so it will be a warrior boss.
needs to have say 24 healing prayers. skills as follows:
-mending
-shielding hands
- (Unique) -gladiators defense (or if they want to add in a new unique skill)
-healing breeze
-gash
-sever artery
-pure strike
- (Unique) -Hundered Blades
i know that there is 2 elite skills in this build but for a boss like this i think we can make an exception.
if these attributes are already in use just use the multiplier 180% of the best boss already in game.

really thats what it amounts too?
wouldn't 16 strength then amount to 160 damage per hit?

No idea, but considering attribute points get more and more thinned towards the end, you are talking about a lvl 200 creature?

this would also be a 10+ man instance so the team might have a fair chance if the skill i think protective spirit is used
it might not be protective spirit but the one that reduces damage down to 10% of the targets hp
hmm well maby down it to 120 or 150
well i will have to go i will be back on tomarrow

Quadruple post?
edited for content's sake - If you want a challenge, go try the new UW area on your own. It's a shame the creature designer isn't an actual designer, rather someone who dictates what they do within the game. This job is much more up my alley.

A Monk could life indefinitely against that boss. A Monk plus a Necro could kill him no problem.
I'm kind of glad that this guy isn't in the game.

even if it had a billion strength and axe mastery, protective spirit + reversal of fortune = gg owned.

Each point of Strength adds 1% of armor penetration to an attack skill only.

Which would...well...negative armor + initial damage can be a LOT. Possibly more than 10,000. (Speculating here, but aren't we all?)

Hm... for every 40 armor difference, it is as good as 50% more damage (although if I remember right, there are more calculation in between).
and 100 sword mastery would lead to... practically critical hit on every hit. So that is as good as 104 swordmanship (taking the easy way out for calculation again).
using the weapon attribute formula, that is 4377 dmg per hit normally (with critical).
using skill with 100 strength is 12380 damage per hit, then you add the damage from skill at attribute 100, say final thrust... +another 522 damage.
Lets say weakness is about 90% damage off, that is still 438 per critical.
Now, all we need is some enchantment removal skill just by it attacking. GG
I was bored, waiting for the event.
